West Bromwich Albion's Peter Odemwingie sworn at by Adrian Chiles at awards... - Telegraph.co.uk

Chiles, the ITV football presenter and ongoing West Bromwich Albion ally, aimed a derogatory remark at Odemwingie as the club event was hosted by him at the Birmingham ICC on Sunday evening. Albion forward Odemwingie was not present at the service as he was recovering from the cold but Chiles's statement gave still another hint that the Nigerian is going to be offloaded this summer. Chiles said: "Our fourth honor of the evening is for atweet of the yeara... Oh, no, sorry itas at--- of the yeara - and the success is Peter Odemwingie." His club was infuriated by odemwingie in January by first hitting in a shift demand when they refused a A3 million bet from QPR before then criticising his companies on Twitter. Then he drove down seriously to Loftus Road on exchange deadline day in a determined attempt to force the move through but failed - and was then fined another time for another biting attack on the social network site. Chiles's remark, which was ad libbed on the night time, is considered to have stunned team officers and friends at the event, that has been attended by over 800 people. Odemwingie was also booed when he was noticed in a shows compilation of last time. The 31 year-old has 12 months left on his A38,000 per week contract following this strategy and Albion will sell at around A3 million.
