Ravens LB Rolando McClain Announces He’s Retiring

The career of Rolando McClain is over, as the Ravens have announced that the linebacker is walking away from the game at just 23 years old.

"Rolando let me know that he plans to retire from the NFL," Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome stated on the teams website. "We have placed him on the Reserve/Retired list."

McClain came to the Ravens on a one-year deal back on April 12th. He was arrested just 10 days later in his hometown of Decatur, Alabama.

He fnishes his three-year NFL career with 274 tackles (195 solo), 6.5 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and 23 passes defensed in 41 career games with Oakland.
