The longest-tenured Oriole over the team, second baseman Brian Roberts is injured for the majority of the past three seasons.
O's fans and conquer writers alike were dreaming about a healthy B-Rob this coming year, as he made that through spring training along with his health in tact and got off to a strong start the first two games of the regular season.
During that third game, however, your dog injured himself while swiping second base. A ruptured tendon close his knee required a recently available surgery, and he shall be out for at minimum six weeks.
It's obvious that Roberts wants an extra chance and help his company win, and the O's and their fans so want to see that. But given Roberts' injury history, I see him returning for two weeks in the late summer, only to injure himself yet again and end up missing the remainder of the season including the postseason should the Parrots qualify.
