Looking like old seasoned, 14-year-old starts with 73

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) a Fourteen-year-old Guan Tianlang is the youngest player ever to compete at the Masters. But he seemed a lot more like an expert Thursday when he shot a 73 in his debut at Augusta National. Guan produced a from off the green to birdie his final hole, finding a standing ovation from the crowd at No. 18. Leading the cheers was two-time Masters champion Ben Crenshaw, certainly one of Guan's playing partners. If he plays this way Friday, the eighth-grader from China might set another record as the youngest player to produce the cut at the Masters. The Asia Pacific Amateur champion says he does not think he may win the Masters in 2013. But he thinks he can as time goes by, and his purpose is always to win all four majors in a single year.
