A recruitment drive has been introduced for a store which is starting at West Bromwichas A200 million New Square development. Clothing dealer Outfit is opening a at the retail complex development and leisure on June 19, and has now started looking for staff. It's not even known exactly how many jobs is going to be created at the shop, but vacancies available include three managerial jobs and several full and part-time sales adviser opportunities. The 9,300 square ft shop, area of the Arcadia Group, will have an estimated turnover of A2.3 million and is one of a number of suppliers signed up for the growth off Cronehills Linkway, including Primark, JD Sports and Nandos. Sandwell Council jobs and economy chef Derek Rowley has welcomed the statement of the recruitment drive. He said: aThis means jobs for the area, as this type of store will create local jobs. Thereas lots of talent here in Sandwell so they really donat have to get anywhere else.a The very first phase of New Square may open in June 2013 with the Tesco store, Odeon Cinema, Next, Bank and the restaurant products because of open. The rest of the stores will start later in the season. The Tesco shop will start fitting out in March, ready for the first section opening in June, when the Odeon and Next also plan to start. Further items may open in the fall with Primark planned to to get ready in December. As a new exhibit has been set up at The Public in the town to keep individuals informed about New Square, including info on the merchants previously signed up, the timings for store openings and building pictures the new jobs boost comes.
