Blues believe they lead the chase for the free-scoring Columbian who might change unsettled Aguero at the Etihad Getty Birmingham City are poised to break the British move history with a raid for Radamel Falcao, writes the Sunday People. The Blues are assured of landing Atletico Madridas Colombian striker now that Real Madrid have fallen out of the running. Falcao, 27, is considered to have a get-out clause in his Atletico package and, with Real refusing to meet that survey, City believe they are able to beat off competition from Chelsea to land the greatest frontman in world soccer. He might even link up with Real Madrid employer Jose Mourinho at the Etihad Stadium, with the Special One set to leave the Bernabeu in the summertime and City considered to be his almost certainly spot. Mourinho and Falcao are represented by representative Jorge Mendes and may both wind up at City a' although no clear decision has yet been made on the continuing future of manager Roberto Mancini. Atletico instructor Diego Simeone, meanwhile, is just a huge fan of Dzeko and relations between the team and City are good after the A38m option between them for Aguero in 2011.
