STATE COLLEGE, Missouri. (AP) a Jermaine Marshall scored 25 points and Penn State upset No. 4 Michigan 84-78 on Wednesday night for its first Big Ten gain of the summer season. The Nittany Lions (9-18, 1-14) had lost 18 straight regular-season meeting games dating to last year, but they roared back from a 15-point deficit with 10:39 left out the dynamic play of Marshall. The senior guard obtained 19 in the next half, including four Jordan Center fans that were whipped by 3s into a frenzy. D.J. Points were added 17 by newbill for Penn State, which hit a season-high 10 3-pointers. Marshall's turning travel to the basket gave the Nittany Lions a three-point guide before Michigan's Glenn Robinson III misfired on a with 17 seconds left. Sasa Borovnjak had a wonderful Senior Night, striking two bad photographs with 15 seconds left to seal the win. Moments later, Penn State fans rushed the court in joy. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19 factors for the Wolverines (23-5, 10-5).
