Next season would be jumped at the chance to sign Emmanuel Frimpong on loan again by fulham boss Martin Jol. Frimpong has made just one look for the Cottagers since he arrived on a loan from Arsenal, but it seems the combative midfielder has made quite an impression on Jol. The 21-year-old, who looks set to start out at Sunderland tomorrow, is because of come back to the Emirates Stadium come july 1st, but Jol want to keep carefully the Ghanaian for longer. "He is on loan at the time and it would be very costly to take him (permanently), but if there was a chance to take him on loan again, I'd likely do that," the Fulham boss said. "It is fairly a nice place to be in, to get a loan player you don't need to pay a transfer payment. It is a great way of accomplishing things." Frimpong joined Arsenal at nine-years-old and satisfied during his advancement through the youth rates, supporting the Gunners to FA Youth Cup glory last year. He did well when he played for us against Norwich. He's fully fit today so I can play him from the start if I need to." Yet another midfielder Jol can have at his disposal is Welshman Simon Davies. Davies has experienced a number of incidents over the past 18 months and he's not performed for the team since their 5-0 win over Wolves in March last year. Tomorrow he's overcome his latest problem - a knee injury - and could feature at the Stadium of Light. "Simon Davies is straight back, he is fit," Jol included. "I have to make a decision (on whether he features). I have lots of players now but it might be about having him in the squad." Davies is one of several of Fulham participants who're out of agreement at the end of the period. Jol has questioned the 33-year-old to prove that he deserves a fresh deal. "We like people to be quite productive," the former Tottenham director said. "He was hurt probably half of the time, perhaps more, but hopefully he can stay healthy today. "I have an idea that he can still prove himself again because that's what he did before. "In the past he was a huge person for Fulham."
